Don't Forget Man's Best Friend

It’s necessary to guard against summer-related dangers for your pets too.

· Is your dog the first one in the pool or waves? Be sure he knows how to get out of the pool or onto the boat. Problems occur when pets fall into pools or off boats and panic.

· Pets can get sunburned too, and sunscreen may be needed on their nose and ear tips.

· Try to limit exercise to early morning or nighttime hours. Keep in mind that asphalt gets very hot and can burn your pet’s paws.
