Since joining Boster, Kobayashi & Associates in 1993, Tom has been assigned to over 2000 cases, been deposed over 200 times and testified in over 80 trials. His cases have ranged from motor vehicle accidents to product liability to workplace/construction site accidents. Recent products cases have included a horse drawn wagon, a wheelchair, and mast climber scaffolding, to name a few. Assignments have taken Tom throughout California, as well as to Hawaii, Washington, Oregon, Nevada, Utah, Arizona, New Mexico, Texas, Connecticut, and Vermont.
In addition to his caseload, Tom has attended numerous seminars to supplement his knowledge of accident reconstruction. He most recently completed the 32-hour SAE course on Accessing and Interpreting Heavy Vehicle Event Data Recorders. Tom is a member of the Society of Automotive Engineers and he was elected to the Society of Forensic Engineers and Scientists.
Tom attended the University of California at Davis to double major in both Mechanical and Aeronautical Engineering.
